GSView on Print-Protected PDFs
Those with print-protected PDFs should consider checking out the GPL’d GSView. Once you install it, start the program and open the locked PDF in question. Once it opens, you should be able to easily print another PDF using a PDF-making program, such as PDFcreator (also GPL).
Those wanting an open source alternative to Adobe and FoxIt Reader should check out Sumatra PDF. For only 500K, it packs quite a punch, particularly for lower end PCs that might need lighter tools.
