WANTED: Level 3 F/OSS Monitoring Engineer

I am looking for a solid level 3 systems engineer who…

• …can use F/OSS tools to build out crazy monitoring infrastructures (think tens of thousands of service checks).
• …is wanting to work in a fast-paced integrator environment (with sales people who find monster opportunities).
• …can communicate well (i.e. be able to respond to an RFP or create a solid Scope of Work).
• …is “plugged in” the F/OSS community (e.g. interacting with the people who wrote the source code for the tools which you’ll be using).
• …is adept at scripting and ok at programming (enough to read through and possibly modify other people’s perl and python scripts).
• …learn whatever technical skill they have to in order to “make it happen”.
• …can think creatively on how to solve “impossible” projects.
• …is able to interact comfortable with “c-level” executives (e.g. CTO, CIO, etc)
• …is willing to work in Newport Beach, CA.
• …is willing to travel once in a while.
• …can conduct [him/her]self like a professional.
