I loved this hack, following it direction and enjoying the feeds. However, now all the RSS feeds are dead because of decaf going down. I’ve searched all over the web and cannot get whole of FeedMagick2 to get this great hack working again, please help. Where to get the software or an alternative solution?

I followed these directions and was happily checking Craig’s List feeds daily, then the RSS feeds were dead. I read the comments about decafbad going away for a redesign, I’ve gone around in circles all over the web trying to repair. Where exactly can I download and install FeedMagick2? HELP!

Heya - I saw this hack, and noticed as I’m moving my site to a new host that there’s been a lot of traffic to my demo FeedMagic install. This thing will probably be broken for a little while, so you may want to download and install your own copy of FeedMagick2.

Seems like a pretty good way to do it. I might have written a ruby script to consume the feeds, sanitize them, and write a file, but this is perfectly workable. It does have several services that all must be working for the script to work… but it’s a convenience tool and not something mission critical anyway.
